When I attempt to click on File Upload Preferences in the CP I get the following error:

MySQL ERROR: Error Number: 1064 Description: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ” at line 1 Query: SELECT * FROM exp_mh_file WHERE upload_id=

EDIT: Correction… when I click on Create New Upload Destination from within File Upload Preferences.

Please advise.

Thank you,

Rick

It looks like a third party extension throwing the error- Mark’s file extension, guessing based on the table name. Try disabling all extensions- should eliminate the error.

To figure out why and how to fix it, you’d want to contact the author or check the extensions forum. If you like, I can shift this one over there and tweak the title.

ah… I see the table name. Sorry… I was in such a hurry I didn’t even pay much attention. I just posted for help. I usually don’t do that. Again, I apologize.

Thank you,

Rick

We’re here to help, so posting was a good thing! Think I will go ahead and shift down to ‘extensions’- I’m pretty sure there’s a known way around this, but I don’t recall what it is. Disable extensions, create the new field, re-enable. Something along those lines. But I don’t have it installed to test, so can’t swear.

Should be fixable, though.
