Moderator’s note: Moved to Plugins: Tech Support.

I just installed the countdown plugin, and it shows up fine in the plugin manager. However, when I go to use it, it kicks back an error of invalid tag. I made sure that my folder is set to 777, that I have the pclzip.lib.php file, that my hosting account supports cURL, and I have the magpie rss parser installed.

However this is what Godaddy has to say about their support of cURL on shared hosting:

Note: On our shared hosting, any CURL applications that make secure HTTP connections (HTTPS over port 443) need to pass through a proxy server. The address for this proxy server is proxy.shr.secureserver.net and connections must specify the use of port 3128. The code below already includes this information.

I don’t feel that this is the problem, but I can not think of any other problems. Thanks for your time.

Greetings,

Which version/build are you using of EE, and may I also get a sample of the code you are using for the tag?
