I’m trying to install LQ Quarantine and I get this:

http://…./index.php?S=0&C=modules&M=INST&MOD=Lg_quarantine
Parse error: parse error, unexpected ‘(‘, expecting ‘}’ in /home/…./modules/lg_quarantine/mcp.lg_quarantine.php on line 349

I just downloaded it today:

I’m hoping to use this with the MSM (multiple site manager) and I noticed that this module creates an error on the additional site. This appears on the CP home pageGetting a similar issue, is this the same issue as yours Rob Q? View the thread I started here.and does not record the flagged entries for the additional site as well.Notice: Undefined index: 2 in /domain-path/public_html/system/extensions/ext.lg_quarantine_ext.php on line 140
Sorry, I’m not sure if that’s the same issue and I uninstalled the multisite manager prior to your post so I can’t check.
Sounds like a very promising module. Is there a way to turn around and white list and article or comment? Lets say I want to allow any of my site members to quarantine an article, at which point I can come back and review the article and make an official thumbs up or thumbs down on it. Once I make a thumbs up, I no longer want to see any flags on that article. May if someone tries to flag it a message could be returned that the article has already been review and deemed acceptable.
I’m using this, and loving it. Any chance you could make it work with image gallery images and gallery comments, too? I know, I’m a dreamer. TTFN Travis
Hey Travis,
I’m about to release a quick update to LG Quarantine which fixes the syntax errors above.
Regarding the gallery comments and posts … I generally don’t add features unless I need them for a project. So I’ll put it on the roadmap but don’t expect it anytime soon 😊
Cheers Leevi
I just installed this module today and have a couple of problems.
When flagging for the first time on any comment it always comes back with: You have already flagged this entry, but you can flag it again. (I have it set so you can flag more than once for testing)
I also have it set that guests can flag while testing, so you don’t have to sign up to flag. Test page here
Second question is, I would like to just set up a link that I can display with each comment that says: Flag as Inappropriate that will take you to the quarantine form which is set up in template quarantine/index. I am having trouble getting the link to work. How would I set up the link so that it gets the correct entry_id/comment_id?

I just tried installing this today and got this very same error. Any suggestions on how to fix it?
Les
I’m getting another problem with this module, and I haven’t been able to get a fix from Leevi yet, so I’m wondering if anyone else has a solution.
I get this error:
Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in
/home/..../modules/lg_quarantine/mod.lg_quarantine.php on line 570
It appears when I submit the quarantine form as an administrator and I have checked the “Auto-quarantine” box. Otherwise, the form submits fine.
I’m fully up to date: EE 1.6.6 - Build: 20081212 LG_QUA_version: 1.0.0 PHP/5.2.8
Does anyone have a fix to this bug?
TTFN Travis
I still haven’t received a reply to my problem either:

I’m having the same issue as two others on the previous page as well. The extension is working fine, but when I go to enable the module, I get this error:
Parse error: parse error, unexpected ‘(‘, expecting ‘}’ in /hsphere/local/home/jennyand/site/modules/lg_quarantine/mcp.lg_quarantine.php on line 349
why is this happening right out of the box? Has there been a fix to this yet?
I’m having the same problem as Deon - I always get back ‘Sorry, you have already flagged this entry.’ regardless of whether I’ve flagged it or not.
I think Quarantine is detecting that my IP has flagged other entries and counting that as a flag for entries that have not been flagged. When I turn off IP checking and use only cookies the same problem occurs.
