XHTML formatting breaks our hyperlinks

Hi all -

We’re using Mark Hout’s fantastic Multitext extension to enable tabular custom fields. The thing is, adding HTML hyperlinks to any of the entries is a problem. For example, if we input the following in one of the fields:

<a href="http://www.google.com/" title="Google">Google</a>

It comes back out of EE like so:

<a href="http://www.google.com/" title="Google">Google</a>

This totally breaks the link. I feel like there is a simple fix for this, but I’m at a loss as to what it might be. Any help?

Thanks, Will

Argh, the forum didn’t display the second piece correctly because it actually rendered the XHTML entities as quotes.

Basically, each quotation mark in our hyperlinks come back as the XHTML entity, which is & # 3 4 ; (without the spacing of course).

Will, we don’t provide support for third party addons.

If you don’t use Mark’s extension, does it work then?

Hi Sue,

Thanks for the response. I thought Multitext might be popular enough that the community at large could help out, or that the problem might be obvious. Should I repost in the extensions forum?

Thanks, Will
