Fact or fiction: Image Sizer and Avatar's don't play nice together?

Figured this was worth a post seeing that at least one another person has inquired about this before. I was wondering if anybody had ever gotten Image Sizer to work with avatar’s before?

I am running an MSM setup with my avatar’s hosted on the primary site. Not sure if this is the cause of it not functioning, but seems no matter what I try, Image Sizer will simply not produce anything out of avatars.

Help is truly apreciated. Hopefully this post can serve as reference to others that may encounter this issue as well. I’m really looking forward to sticking mainly with EE add-on’s to do things that I want rather than resort to something like PHP Thumb, but if it needs be, than I suppose I will have to jump ship. That’d be a huge shame though, as I quite fancy Image Sizer.
