😜 No worries! Thanks for the quick reply though. It’s working perfectly. Your plugins, modules, etc. rock!

Leevi–

On your documentation page for this, it says to use “hide_site_title=y” to hide the site title. I was doing this and it didn’t work. Looking into the plugin settings, it looks like it needs to be “hide_site_title=yes”, not “=y” to work.

Great extension though!

Hello Leevi,

Upon rechecking my site, it seems that I’m receiving the following:

Fatal error: Class 'Lg_better_meta' not found in C:\Program Files\XAMPP\htdocs\ExpressionEngine\system\core\core.template.php on line 1183

I’m not too sure if it has anything to do with my site not display properly (it’s outputting a lot of gibberish as if it’s not encoding properly or something if that means anything at all). Will check this out - but I’ve not done anything with LG Better Meta or my templates drastically that may have initiated this on itself that I recall.

Will take a look at this a bit more deeply.. I’m having quite a number of issues with XAMPP.

Thanks again for the great add-ons!

Cheers, Danny

Hey Mr Dimsum,

Throw up a screenshot of the “gibbersih” so I can take a look.

Cheers

When I do a fresh install and go into the settings to add keywords, they are cut off at 100 characters. Can that be changed? Do I just go into the mcp file and change the amount of allowed characters?

Hey Ryan,

Most of the recommendations I have read state that you should only have a couple of keywords per page. This keeps you focussed on the content.

I think MSN is the only search engine that actually uses keyword meta so the keywords are just to remind the editor.

Fair enough…we should be concentrating on the content anyway!

I should also say…. it shouldn’t be hard to hack the mcp file if you need to 😊

Yes, I’ve done that in the past for a keyword crazy client, but would prefer not to this time. Thanks, Leevi!
