Hello,

One of my extensions provides a form, and I would like to define an action for my extension. Doing so, doesn’t seem to work, as when I submit my form I get an error:

The action you have requested is invalid.

Any idea of how to go about this?

Thanks, Mike

Extensions cannot be recipients of action requests, only modules, so if your addon needs an action request, it would need a module component as well, and an installer that knew to install / uninstall the partner add-on.

Before you dive into that though, can you describe what the purpose of your extension is? That you’ve made an extension that needs an action request is an indication that we might be able to help you with some generalized problem solving as it pertains to writing add-ons for EE.
