LG Image and File Manager - Wrapping <p> tags around inserted content

All my inserted content from the file or image manager seem to be getting wrapped in a p tag and a space appended to the end of the path. I initially noticed it as I was using it with Lumis’ imgsizer plugin. Is this indeed a bug?
I figured this one out.
The only way I found to fix this was: * edit the field, changing the fieldtype to textinput * change the formatting to something other than none * check the “change all entries” checkbox * change the field back to “none”, check the checkbox again
Fixed! No hack to the imgsizer plugin needed.
I had solved this issue the following way:
