Anyone out there using LG Member Form Optimiser?
Group Rules features aren’t working for me, except within the Control Panel.
The member area, i.e. the page at {path=member/edit_profile}, seems to ignore it. I’ve customized the Member Profile Templates, and was assuming the form optimizer would hide fields there just as it does within the Control Panel.

Leevi, it would be extremely helpful for all of us if you mentioned this small, but important detail on the LG Member Form Customiser download page.
I struggled for the longest time trying to understand why the fields weren’t being removed from the Member Profile Forms — until I came across this forum post which explain that it’s not possible.
Try Solspace’s User module at http://www.solspace.com/software/detail/user/. It’s not free, but does what you want and more in terms of total customization of the front-end member profiles. I think it’s got great synergy with LG Member Form Customizer, because it does the front-end work and ignores the CP, and LGMFC does the opposite!
