At last, from zero to “hero” im thinking about serious work with EE. One year went “to learn and trying to understand” this lovely CMS and now its time to make things good, nice and smooth.
I have not really tried plugins (or extensions) much and was thinking that is there good ones that suites for service based website that brings out tutorials, videos, sell stuff, unite people to have a wonderful hobby and so on. What have you noticed that you use in most of your projects for “filling” the power of EE?
Thanks: - Tuittu
tuittu, it just depends.
What I do is have a folder on my hard drive called extras, that has the following folders:
/plugins /extensions /modules /language
See where I’m going?
I then fill those folders with the plugins, extensions, modules and language files that I’ll be installing.
I just FTP those folders into my /system directory, and voila! Have to activate the modules and extensions, but plugins are available right away.
