I installed the new version of the structure plugin that add a class last, but now I got the problem that the last list item doesn’t contain anything. My entry is disappeared :( When I look in the structure tab it is there…

<li class="sub_level_1"><a href="/ouders/overblijven/tarieven/">Tarieven</a></li>
<li class="sub_level_1"><a href="/ouders/overblijven/afspraken/">Afspraken</a></li>
<li class=" last"></li>

I installed Structure 1.1 and then upgraded to EE 1.6.7. Both processes seemed to work (in the sense that nothing complained or broke), but I don’t see any trace of Structure in my tabs. I’m not sure where to start looking. CP jQuery is enabled.

We’re looking into the sub nav issue.

@jlundell you have to go to Modules » Structure and add the tab yourself using the top right link “New Tab”

Thanks; I’m in business.

You might want to add a bullet to the installation/configuration instructions.

If it’s not one thing it’s another. This is just an FYI. I noticed that Quick Save doesn’t save the Structure URI in the weblog entry edit page. So I though I’d turn on Publish Tweeks. Got this error:

Warning: Missing argument 2 for Publish_tweeks::submit_redirect() in /usr/www/users/jlundell/prfound/system/extensions/ext.publish_tweeks.php on line 147

That was 0.7.0. I installed 0.7.1 (did you blog that?) and all is well. So far.

We looked into it more and the Quick Save button won’t work with Structure because of a hook issue. We recommend using somehting like Publish Tweeks or Publish Improvements

Forthcoming release in the next day or so to fix the nav_sub bug.

Hi,

How do I show all sub nav pages for all root levels when at a root level page? I must be overlooking something easy.

Excuse me if this is a stupid question… I have been on holidays and my brain is still on vacation.

@rockthenroll This isn’t an official bug report (no idea how the client did this and frankly I don’t want to know) but a recommendation: Somehow a client managed to end up with some nodes nested far more deeply than they should have been (as in, the ‘depth’ property = 195) which causes a whole host of errors (URLs in excess of 4000 chars break things, to say the least). I’d suggest that you guys add a check to make sure that the depth from node(n) to node(n+1) doesn’t increase by more than 1 at a time (since logically it shouldn’t be allowed to anyway) to prevent this bug from happening again (although like I said, I don’t actually have any clue how it happened).

There’s no current way that I know of to build an entire navigational structure, with all root and sub-pages. I had to manually do it with SQL and PHP.

Thanks for the reply… Time to rethink the navigation structure..

I used the method found here http://ellislab.com/forums/viewreply/469745/ to create a site map for a recent site, changing the function name to nav_map so it didn’t conflict with new nav_main.

Great!! I have to check it out… I hope it will look the same as the sitemap when you click on the structure tab.

@nomolos thanks for the report. We’ll put it on the feature list, but that’s an edge case. WOW. I helped build this thing and I don’t even know how they did that hahaha.

@leegreen what @slapshotw said

Sitemap tag is on the list, but not sure when it will be complete.

FYI a full tutorial of building a simple Structure site has been posted on the brand-new Jambor-ee site: http://jambor-ee.com/tutorials/structure/[/b]
