@paulp Most of the time you’d want to use page_uri and page_url - most of the point of Structure is to make use of those “static page” variables and not the normal templating method.

Of course, that works. Thanks for the great module and speedy response!

Hi all..! I have a question about this tag.

{exp:structure:nav_sub}

Are you able to create a generic template which shows the sub nav, for “About” in this example, all the time even when you are on the More History page..?

o About * History o More History * Mission Statement

At the moment when I am on the More History Page, Mission Statement disappears. Can it be done..? =)

@HoneyWeb are you using start_from and show_depth? That should do it.

Is there any way to be able to get structure path to the specific structure static page when displaying entries as search results?

@kundi do you mean page_uri or page_url?

That did the trick.

I’d also like to be able to achieve this with one template, and not have to make a template for each major heading so as to declare a start page.

Is there a way? =)

@HoneyWeb you can use segment vairables instead of hardcoding a nav point or path.

Hi Travis,

Structure is great!

Is there a way to add conditionals to display structure page elements?

For example here’s some quasi-code>

{if there are subnav elements then print them} {exp:structure:nav_sub} {if:else} Some message {/if}

Cheers Peter.

can we count on the following logic?

if Structure (2.0) then
EE (2.0) = Structure (2.0) as core module
return TRUE?

😊 some day?

Just started working with Structure and love the concept… one big barrier i have come across though…

I want to use this to generate menus - but often my page titles are long and descriptive, but i want me menu text to be short and precise… for example Title: “About My Company” Menu Item: “About Us”

Is your next version going to permit for different menu text to overide the title text, or am i going to have to suffer with {if} queries to replace these items as the menu is generated?
