Just send a PM to Brad Street (see first message in thread)
Please PM if you’d like to purchase. License is just $30 per site and includes the LinkLocker 2 module and LinkLocker Stats plugin. Note - if you don’t require click tracking or member download tracking, save some money and use the ”free” version.
Yes - Clicking on Linklocker in the Modules section brings up the CP which has 3 areas - Documentation, Link Statistics, and Member Statistics. Documentation: Shows documentation and usage examples. Link Statistics: Shows each “actual” link to a file separated by group/label, along with how many “locked” links have been generated for that link/group/label, how many downloads have been made of the file, broken down futher to downloads by members and downloads by guests. Member Statistics: Shows each “actual” link to a file separated by group/label, the member who a download link was provided to, when the link was created, when the link expires, how many times the link has been downloaded, time and date the file was last downloaded, and a link to “reset” which effectively removes the entry from the database, allowing a link to be regenerated for the user.
Hope that helps somewhat.
Ron,
That’s difficult to say. It is something that you should be able to test with the free version of LinkLocker, my guess is that it would depend on whether the quicktime/flash player would use the encrypted links. As of yet, I have not tested such a solution, but would welcome input from anyone else who may have.
Can we also have an additional small feature which can actually make this module a great one? smile
I want redirect URLs as encrypted URLs..so that if I want to display an affiliate URL on a blog post, and I dont want to show to the user the actualy affiliate URL..linklocker will encrypt it the same way, and checks on clicking that if its simply a URL, redirects.
For example _ I used this:
a href = ” {exp:linklocker url = http://yahoo.com expires=“0” iplock=“off” target=“_New” title=”{title}”
Then my URL is encrypted properly but when I click on it, it asks to save the file..where as it should simply go to that domain.
Is it possible?
Never mind..I did it myself by adding a new MODE in the mod file. It worked awesome 😊
Thanks for a great module..

LinkLocker has been updated to version 2.2. Features in this version include pagination for Link Statistics and Member Statistics areas (for those who have a LOT of links), configuration information is moved from the database to the config file, numerous bug fixes, and the ability to integrate with my soon to be released “Digital Commerce” module to lock links of purchased downloadable files (sshhh…it’s a “secret”). If you have any questions or comments about the module, please post them to the LinkLocker 2 thread. To purchase the module ($30 USD) please PM me. All of those who have purchased the module, please check your paypal registered email address for the updated files.
Oh, and of course, thanks for using LinkLocker 2!
