Acronym Module & Gallery Custom Fields

Is it currently possible for the Acronym Module (Solspace, version 1.5.1.) to work its magic on Gallery custom fields?
I have a template where I use Mark Hout’s multi-relation extension to pull in a set of images with each post, and each image has a caption associated with it in a custom field. These captions contain links that are frequently repeated, and when I looked for a way to only have to enter these links once it was suggested I use the Acronym module.
However, I can’t seem to get it to work. Could be me being less than smart, but perhaps this isn’t supported? If not, any chance it might become supported?

It should be possible, since you’re just wrapping the custom field with the acronym module tags. Did you try it? If you can’t get it working, I’d recommend posting over at Solspace’s forums as they do have their own support over there as well. =)
Yes, I tried it and in the same entry it works within the regular fields but not within the custom fields for the gallery. Will ask over at their forums. 😊
