Extension: Relationship by author

Does anyone know of or how to make a similar extension like a custom “relationship” feild but only list the relationship by author who’s currently posting… Im trying to link to a weblog to a dropdown like you would normally in a relationship but I only want it to display postings by author’ whos currently logged in?
