I updated my foxee module on my site to the latest build and I instantly lost access to my EE control panel. I basically just see a blank white page. The front end of both the sites on my MSM installation worked fine but I could no longer access the EE control panel. Sooo…I ended up reverting Foxee to the previous build and now I’m getting this when I try to go to my control panel:
Warning: call_user_func_array() [function.call-user-func-array]: First argument is expected to be a valid callback, 'Foxee_extension::add_jquery' was given in /home/mysite/public_html/ee/system/core/core.extensions.php on line 262
Anyone have any ideas on how to solve this issue?
I am guessing that there is still some database fields or tables left over from the upgrade. Use a mySQL manager and look under ext_modules table and see if there are any foxEE fields from the upgrade. If so, delete them and also make sure you remove any related language files and extensions/plugins files left over from the upgrade. Then try accessing the CP again. You might even need to remove the entire module from the database and start over. Hope this helps.
The problem was a conflict with having control panel jquery enabled. I disabled it and everything worked ok (except for the control panel jquery of course). Then within a couple hours the devs sent me a couple new versions to try out, the last of which fixed the problem and I can now use CP jquery and have FoxEE working correctly.
I just wanted to chime in here, one to be subscribed to this thread but also to make sure everybody knows that the main place to find FoxEE support is on our EE add-on Forums.
Several people have posted their questions in multiple places (not just you Mike 😉 ) and it is important that we centralize our support. We can provide much more effective response times this way, as well as a place were users can find solid answers.
With that being said, Mike thanks for working with us to get your problem solved and we are still looking into your other post about subscription management.
When upgrading to the most current FoxEE build, if you experience problems you can disable and enable the FoxEE EXTENSION, not the module you will loose your database/product information.
