Brandon, When I add the url to the system index page I get the following error:Notice: Undefined index: check_for_extension_updates in /path/to/system/extensions/ext.editor.php on line 303 Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /path/to/system/extensions/ext.editor.php:303) in /path/to/system/core/core.functions.php on line 296
Did this get fixed (using 1.02)?
I’ve just come across this extension. Looks like there’s a compatibility issue with version 1.6.7. I have it working perfectly on 1.6.6 but in 1.6.7 it doesn’t load the edit icon, nor is there any trace of this icon in the page’s markup. Hopefully Brandon will come out with a new release soon to address this problem.

I have the same problem using 1.0.2 and EE 1.6.7
I also only get the edit icon to appear in the most recent entry.
I have 5 entries listed and the icon only appears beside the most recent

@Sanity11 - Not at this time, sorry. You can test your xml from a different browser, though, and they won’t show up.
upgraded to 1.0.2 and when I try to save my settings I get the same error. I’ve tried it on a fresh install with no other extensions as well as a productin site. When I add the url to the system index page I get the following error:Make sure you’re using v 1.0.2 and you’ve saved your settings.Notice: Undefined index: check_for_extension_updates in /path/to/system/extensions/ext.editor.php on line 303 Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /path/to/system/extensions/ext.editor.php:303) in /path/to/system/core/core.functions.php on line 296
I had same problem, but installed lg addon updater and problem now resolved.
Hi Brandon,
I’m having exactly the same issue as Steven Grant (below). Do you know of a way round this? Maybe a contitional to ignore the {weblog:entry} tab if it’s within <title></title>?
Have just installed this extension and it works, however I’ve got a major glitch. I use the weblog entry tag to display entry title in my URL and that’s where the edit button is appearing, not in the body. Any ideas?
I was having a similar issue - Editor 1.02 and EE 1.6.7 and the editor icon wasn’t showing up at all (on the page or in the source code).
I know I was testing this extension earlier on in the piece with the site I’m working on, but it was working fine then.
Anyway, I had to manually delete the editor entries in the extension table in MYSQL. After that I re-enabled the extension and re-entered my settings and then the icons were displaying fine.
Maybe there is an issue during upgrading or disabling and re-enabling?
Either way try that if you are still having problems.
