Would this extension also be applicable for the wiki, allowing members to edit wiki pages using WYSIWYG?
Not in its current form. But, if the wiki has the right extension hook, the Xinha extension could probably be adapted to work with it.

hey,
i tried to use the xinha-extension, but i encounter this problem: with the wiki everything is ok, with the weblog-module i cannot upload images (the popup opens and i get a 404-error there). do you have any idea where i could check to fix this?

Try the latest release, available in this post, and check the docs for notes on image managers.

i already had the latest release, but i could solve it as mentioned in the doc: disable extension, empty cash, re-enable.
