when I was younger, I had patience, but she left me for someone else. Now I only have impatience left, she feels right at home and says she is gonna stay forever…

this sounds really useful, hope it’s ready soon.

I really need something like this for a client and I’m thinking of writing a module for it myself. Your module would probably do everything I need and more but I have a deadline 😉

I think this sounds interesting. I’m using a Navigation module (which is GREAT) but would love to monkey with this as well. Count me in for wanting to know where development is on this!

I’ve written a new module called PageTree, that allows you to create arbitrary page navigation structures, with any level of heirarchy.

You really can almost do this with a category group nowadays. In other words, making a “Navigation” category, assigning it to a weblog (even if you never actually use those categories in that weblog - by assigning the group to a weblog you make those categories “live”) and than using them on your templates. You can nest categories, create URL titles, custom category fields, all sorts of fun stuff, all built in.
