I tried entities and that didn’t work. As far as I know this is the only thread about this module.

Just gave a run on this module and would have to say that it works pretty well. The spacing of the letters would be a neat little addition, but nothing too serious. This makes the decision to go sIFR or this really tempting.

Usually that error is the result of one of two things…

1) the image cache directory isn’t writable (if your host uses phpsuexec, don’t change file permissions…if they don’t use phpsuexec, change the title images cache folder permissions to 777)

2) the path to the title image cache directory is incorrect or doesn’t exist.

When the module is first installed, it should ask to enter the directory information (it guesses at what the directory should be, but you should double check this).

Once the settings are updated for the first time, if they are throwing the error, you’ll probably want to uninstall the module and reinstall it to wipe out the db values (or you could edit the db directly to remove the values).

Aha, finally found this thread from yonks back!

Anyone interested in this sort of thing might be interested in my module which does the same thing, pretty much, just differently: http://ellislab.com/forums/viewthread/94514/

This looks very cool but one thing’s stopping me from using it: I don’t really want img tags in my headings. Would there not be a way to put them in with CSS? Even if the CSS image replacement had to happen inline, within the <h1> (or whatever) tag, that would be much more accessible.

Is that feasible?

Ah cool - I had looked at it but I hadn’t noticed it replaced them with CSS. Will give it a go!

Is there a way to have it so the title image is a link? For example having the title link to the comments page.
