Hey guys,
Just a quick message to say I have released v1.4.0 of LG Better Meta.
Change Log:
There is also a commercial version available that removes the attribution. Until I setup a payment system drop me a PM if your interested in purchasing.
Grab it from the documentation page.
Cheers
Hey Leevi,
I installed this extension and it worked great for a few days…and then we didn’t touch it since and now we want to edit some meta data or add new articles and when we click on the “Better Meta” tab nothing shows up.
I downloaded a fresh install of the extension and then re-uploaded it and that didn’t seem to fix it. I also never touched any parts of the back-end of EE or of the extension.
Any suggestions?
Leevi,
It appears LG Better Meta and Restricted entries don’t play well together. When I enable Better Meta and create or edit an entry - the groups tab (restricted entries) doesn’t function properly. If you click the Groups tab, it disappears. You have to refresh the page it comes back. If I disable the LG Better meta tool, restricted entries works again.

Hey the Rooster,
Can you send me the url of the “Restricted Module”? I’m guessing the developer is not checking to see if anyone else is using the same extension.
Cheers
Hey hey….
Ok this one was my fault :(
Heres the quick fix….
Line 508 should be:
$ret .= "<!-- Start LG Better Meta Tab -->";
Notice the . (period) I’ll prepare a new version and try and get it up today.
Thanks for spotting this one!

Full apologies for assuming 😊
This has now been fixed… Grab 1.4.2 from the LG Better Meta documentation page.
