Was wondering would this be a practical usage of the “description” field? Could you highlight what one might put in there, if not for something such as the body of an arrticle? I understand that I can override these by specifying a description as per post, but if I don’t, would this be the next logical thing to insert in there pretty much?
I am considering this for version 1.7 😊
I’m trying to pull meta information from an entry in one site and importing it into another. I see in the docs that Better Meta is MSM compatible, but I didn’t see much information regarding it. I’ve tried two ways to pull the data in and neither seem to work:
{exp:lg_better_meta_pl:template site="main_site" entry_id="342"}
and
{exp:weblog:entries weblog="seo_only" site="main_site" entry_id="342"}
{exp:lg_better_meta_pl:template entry_id="342"}
{/exp:weblog:entries}
I didn’t see that site=”” was a usable parameter so I tried putting it within weblog:entries tags. The weblog:entries version does bring in data as I can add {title} and it displays it in the HEAD.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Not sure if this is still an active thread as there hasn’t been a post (other than me) since November 2009, but… was wondering if there was a roadmap for Better Meta on EE2.0? Looks like Ellis Lab is encouraging the move to EE2 by giving limited support of 1.6 at the end of the year.
Most of the extensions I use are already 2.0 compliant and would like to know if your extensions are moving in that direction anytime soon?
Thanks! Your extensions are awesome and don’t want move on without them.
