This was a paid add-on, so I don’t think you can just download it without buying a license. Maybe send a private message to Mr. Wilson?

Looking for Mr. Wilson….

I was checking out various addons from the devot-ee.com site, and noticed that Mr. Wilson’s Studio625.com is down. According to this post in another thread, (date: May 5 2009) Mr. Wilson says that the site is, er, indisposed.

Weever isn’t dead. The website is just … uhh … indisposed at the moment. PM [him] if you’re interested in Weever.

Here’s hoping that Mr. Wilson is well, and that whatever things are contributing to the site being “indisposed” they get cleared up soon.

Has anyone been able to get hold of Mr. Wilson? We really need this for our site…

I sent an email to him based on one of his other sites (or via PM, don’t remember) back in June. I got a response June 18 (hm! 2 months ago exactly!), and I trust that it’s of a generic enough nature that I may quote it here without incurring his wrath for emailing and telling 😉

I am still around. I’m just very swamped at the moment. A full redevelopment of the studio625.com is in my medium-range plan, but I do hope to get at least something simple back up and running in the near future. Thanks for checking in with me

Thanks Susan, I really hope he gets back to me.

Do you know where I can see any documentation for the plugin or any code samples for integrating it with a template?

I am keen to see how it integrates with the existing comments module and how much code needs to be added to the templates.

Thanks!

No, I don’t know nuttin’ about his plugins and extensions. When I saw he was AWOL (well, sorta), I sent a note saying, “Hi, you okay?” and left it at that. None downloaded nor installed here. Can’t help you get ahold of actual files. Best to ask others upthread who got it? Dunno, that’s the best option I can think of offhand….

It is a for-pay module, so asking others for downloads would probably not be kosher.

I do have a copy installed, sort of (my site’s in bad shape at the moment, as i’m really swamped myself!) I can set up a demo page for it if you just want to play with it.

ah. I see.

(the problem with the site being down is that there’s no info on the module, so I didn’t know if it was pay or free).

Good of you to clarify.

Yeah, it is in fact a commercial add-on. I’m vaguely in touch with Mr. Wilson; i’ll poke him and suggest he check this thread the next time i see him around online.
