I had a try and set it up. It is working but it gives an php error message after registration. I am running EE 1.6.8 (Build: 20100121) locally. Registration with user module 3.0 and SLFS 1.4.
As I said its working and subscribes to Campaign Monitor and user is registering as well.

Hello all,
I’ve just released version 2 of SL Freshview Subscribe, renamed Campaigner.
Along with a bunch of new features, the other major change is that Campaigner is now a commercial product, priced to move at $15 per site.
I’ve written a blog post explaining my reasons behind charging for Campaigner.
To cut a long story short, this isn’t a decision I took lightly, and I’ve tried to be as fair about everything as possible. To that end, I’ve provided Chad and Christian, both of whom reported issues with SL Freshview Subscribe in the run-up to the release of Campaigner, with a free license.
If you reported a bug that I somehow managed to miss, let me know, and I’ll do the same for you.
Finally, I’m officially “closing” this support thread.
I’ll still be notified of any new posts, but from now on people will be politely redirected to the official support forum.
Thanks to everyone who has supported this add-on throughout its life. I hope you continue to find it useful.
