Well, I can’t speak for Mitchell, of course, but Tag 2.0 has been in public beta for some time now, and it’s been a success, from what I can tell. A few of the testers are using it in production environments already without any problems.
So, while probably no new beta testers are needed at this point, it really shouldn’t be very long now.
Tag 1.1.6 has been for-pay, so this will also be the case for Tag 2.0. To the best of my knowledge, pricing has not been fixed yet; Tag 1.1 cost $29.95. I understand that upgrades for existing customers will be free, at least those who bought within the last year or so. Details to be determined.
